Kitchen Farm is a paddock-to-plate restaurant and regenerative farm at the heart of Newenham, where community and food grow together.

Kitchen Farm is Burke Urban's paddock-to-plate hospitality venture within Newenham, in the Adelaide Hills. Part working farm, part restaurant and café, it brings the estate's wellbeing vision to life through fresh, seasonal food grown and served within the same community it feeds.

Our Vision

Kitchen Farm was created to show what's possible when a residential community is built around more than just homes. Set within Newenham, it combines a regenerative farm with a full-service restaurant and café, giving residents and visitors a genuine, everyday connection to where their food comes from. It's a place to eat well, gather with others, and see firsthand how thoughtful land use and good food can sit at the centre of a thriving neighbourhood.

The Concept

Kitchen Farm operates as two things at once: a working farm using regenerative growing practices, and a restaurant and café built around supporting the regions best produce. Menus are shaped by the seasons, produce is grown with care for the soil, and the dining experience is designed to feel like an extension of the landscape it sits within.

The Place

Located within Newenham on the edge of Mount Barker, Kitchen Farm sits among the estate's natural linear parklands, Western Flat Creek and rolling Adelaide Hills scenery. It functions as a genuine community hub - a place for residents and visitors alike to eat, gather and spend time outdoors, and a practical expression of Newenham's broader commitment to wellbeing, connection and healthy living.
