Formerly this 45 Hectare parcel of land was home to the Murray Bridge Racing Club who earned a strong reputation for over 100 years, as a well-run and reliable destination for regional horse-racing. The Racing Club is now located in their $35 million facility at Gifford Hill on the other side of the South Eastern Freeway.
Our challenge was to turn the former Racing Club site in to a residential and recreational focal point for Murray Bridge.
Offering up to 350 allotments within a magnificent water-wise landscaped environment, designed to flourish in Murray Bridge’s Mediterranean climate, Newbridge will be Murray Bridge’s newest neighbourhood, with leafy street trees, community reserves and interconnected tree-lined trails, offering its residents a chance to
wake up to nature and a new sense of calm every day.
