Kym Burke – Burke Urban Developments, Director
Kym started his planning and project company over 40 years ago. It evolved as a family business and has grown into a highly regarded private property development company. Kym's entrepreneurial spirit, humble and caring nature combined with his astute negotiation, financial and risk management skills have been key to achieving successful negotiations with state and local governments and consolidation of multiple land ownerships into manageable developments. Kym is regarded as innovative leader in the industry.
Damien Collins - Burke Urban Projects, Director
Damien’s focus is to consolidate our existing development portfolio and capitalise on growth opportunities. Damien brings more than 20 years’ experience to the table from his past leadership roles on a number of large master-planned property developments with leading organisations Lendlease, Urbex (a BMD Group Company), and Sinclair Knight Merz (now Jacobs). Damien is an asset to the Burke Urban leadership team and as such joined as an owner and director of newly established Burke Urban Projects in 2021.
Con Tragakis - Burke Urban Investments, Director
Con is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has had over 30 years experience in advising on complex property and financial transactions within his time at KPMG where he served as a partner and as Chairman of Partners.
He is currently Chairman of Renewal SA and a number of growth companies including TicToc Home Loans and Point Data. He is also a Chairman of a number of prominent family boards.
Con is a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Olivia Burke – Burke Urban Property, Managing Director
Olivia joined Burke Urban in 2003 working as a trainee Project Manager and Marketing Coordinator. Her passion for branding, marketing, people and placemaking led her to start her own project marketing and sales business, Burke & Burke Property, trading as Burke Urban Property in 2012. Olivia is a strategic marketing expert and licensed real estate agent, combining these skills with her passion for building resilient communities, to create legacy projects, with a point of difference. Olivia thrives under the enthusiastic mentorship and guidance from her father Kym.
Eliza Teague - Burke Urban Northern NSW & SEQ, Director
Eliza is a passionate property professional, with ten years’ experience in the industry. She holds a Certificate in Property Services, Diploma in Agency Management and has undertaken a nationally recognised Project Management course in Property Development.
Her key responsibility is managing the Burke Urban business expansion and investment programme within New South Wales, and assisting the South Australian team.
Eliza has been heavily involved with UDIA (SA), establishing the UDIA Young Professionals Committee.
Sheryl Mascolo - Burke Urban, Marketing & Sales Manager
Sheryl joined the team in 2015 with over 25 years experience in the advertising industry. Having worked for a range of multi-national advertising agencies she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in branding, advertising and implementing marketing campaigns.
Sheryl is responsible for our project's marketing outcomes, sales teams results and bringing our communities together through community activation strategies.
She is committed to Burke Urban’s promise to deliver environments where people thrive and lifestyles are enhanced.
Geof Bone – Town Planner
As a member of the Planning Institute of Australia with a Bachelor of Arts, Geof is more than qualified in his role as Town Planner. Since starting his career at Master Plan SA, Geof has provided planning services, specialist advisory and strategic advice representing many major South Australian and national development, commercial, retail and industrial enterprises.
Geof also has a keen interest in urban design and we are proud to have him on board as Burke Urban’s professional resource across our major projects.
Tim Halliday - Burke Urban Investments, Development Manager
As a Development Manager with experience delivering projects across numerous sectors, Tim has a proven track record in delivering quality outcomes exceeding the expectations of clients. Together with strong communication skills and the ability and drive to meet challenging project objectives, he strives to ensure successful outcomes on a consistent basis. As a key part of BUI Tim is tasked with overseeing the development of various commercial property projects.
Margaret Gutschi - Design Manager
Maggie has a pivotal role in delivery of the built-form outcome in Burke Urban's residential development projects.
Her role includes the development of Design Guidelines as well as our Detailed Area Plans for every allotment.
Maggie assesses design applications, to help reinforce the vision of the project's strategic marketing plan. It is a sensitive role that balances the needs and dreams of a customer with the vision of the development which Maggie manages brilliantly.
Ben Walker - Project Manager
Ben transitioned from his role as Sales Representative, to one of Project Officer, taking responsible for managing the day to day production of our residential projects. Ben works very closely with construction teams, civil engineers, landscaping and a range of other suppliers. Ben also works in tandem with the design, sales and marketing teams, going above and beyond to achieve exceptional project outcomes.
Marie Sanders - Sales Consultant
Marie is an intuitive, astute and caring sales professional offering dedication to her role in land sales and community creation. Marie takes her role in sales to a new level, offering unparalleled customer service by taking the time to understand the needs and dreams of every purchaser so she can match them to an allotment where they can build their dream home and lifestyle.
Caity Betteridge - Marketing Executive
Caity helps co-ordinate and deliver our marketing programs and content for our social media as well as working closely with a range of suppliers to design and produce marketing collateral to assist our sales team. Caity also assists in running and hosting our events and community engagement programs for our projects.
