A small, passionate team, we are driven by integrity, transparency and honesty in all that we do.

Our collaborative and innovative approach to project management and delivery, with respect for each other’s expertise, is key to our success.

A shared commitment

Burke Urban undertakes many of its projects by way of joint venture partnerships with land owners, farmers and like-minded individuals and passive investors.

Upon project inception we partner with independent best practice consultants and contractors to form project teams with a shared commitment to planning and developing outstanding urban landscapes and communities.

A joint venture approach

Burke Urban’s approach to our joint venture partners is sensitive and fair. Sensitive to the fact that some land owners, farmers, institutions and individuals may have little or even no development or risk management expertise.

Fair in offering unique solutions in the best interests of all parties and including our partners respectfully in the decision making process. These considerations contribute to the ongoing participation of many of our joint venture partners in new projects, resulting in our continued joint success. This is a testament to our collaborative model.

A beneficial partnership

Our sister Domain Project Developments group is the result of an equal partnership between the Burke and Wicks families. Domain operates out of our Franklin Street office which allows us to share resources, ideas and expertise. Under the leadership of Kym Burke, this entity was the face of the successful Linear Park Estate in Athelstone and Highbury, Ascot Waters and Waterhall in Perth and also owns the Student Accommodation tower in Rose Park, South Australia.

A values advocate

Burke Urban is proud to be an active, supportive member of the UDIA (SA Division) whose mission is to secure the viability and sustainability of the urban development industry for the benefit of their members. We are grateful for UDIA’s governance, and believe that their representation of the development industry is critical in ensuring it has a sound political voice. Kym Burke is a distinguished member of the UDIA Executive team.
